Wabi-Sabi Interior/Minimalism 

Wabi-Sabi interior contains few objects and has a lot of space. The objects are to serve usefulness and endurance. This is also to prevent the mind from getting caught up in material desires. Though there is much space, not a single void is meaningless. All gaps are calculated meticulously to make sure the correlation between them and the light, surrounding objects, and between these gaps themselves. 

 

Perhaps, that is why Wabi-Sabi interior always brings serenity, tranquility and reflects a minimalist lifestyle.
